Mark Roemer Oakland Shares Bath Bomb Recipes That You Can DIY Easily

bath Bomb Recipes

Introduction

The bath bomb trend is currently on full swing and if you haven’t jumped the bandwagon, you shouldn’t delay any longer. According to Mark Roemer Oakland, bath bombs make your bath time fun and special and can be easily crafted at your home with everyday ingredients within a tight budget. Here’s how you can make bath bombs at home easily:
The Recipes
1. Tools – There are a few things you need to make a bath bomb. These tools aren’t absolutely essential and can be quickly switched out with other alternatives. However, having them makes your task easier.
● A large bowl for mixing ingredients
● A measuring cup with a rounded spout for pouring
● Measuring spoons
● Muffin tins or bath bomb molds
● Rubber gloves to keep your hands tidy
2. Ingredients – The ingredients you require for making bath bombs are really easy and aren’t toxic. You can stick with the natural scents or go with chemical alternatives that are safe for use.
● Citric Acid
● Baking Soda
● Cornstarch
● Epsom Salt
● Essential Oils
● Coconut Oil
● Natural or chemical food coloring
● Small gifts or prizes if you are making bath bombs for kids
3. Mixing the Ingredients – Take the large mixing bowl and mix in a cup of baking soda with half cups of citric acid, cornstarch, Epsom salt, and a few drops of food coloring. Mix it vigorously and then take a separate small mixing bowl or measuring cup with a spout. If your coconut oil is in solid form, melt it or warm it up if it’s in liquid form.
Add two tablespoons of molten coconut oil to the small measuring cup and combine it with a teaspoon of water and a few drops of essential oil of your choice. You can choose the essential oil that you need to create bath bombs with different scents. It can be anything from lavender and chamomile to peppermint and sweet orange.
4. Combine dry and liquid ingredients – Whisk your dry ingredients slowly in the large bowl and slowly drizzle your mixture of liquid ingredients into it from the measuring cup. Keep doing it until everything is properly combined. You should end up with a crumbly and dry mixture that doesn’t have a “wet” consistency. You have to keep the mixture from being “wet”. Otherwise, the fizzy action would activate sooner than intended.
5. Give it shape – Pack your mixture tightly into either side of muffin tins or molds and press them together. Let it sit like that throughout the night and then tap the mold or tin lightly with a spoon in the morning. That brings the bath bomb out of contact with the surface of the hard mold and lets you bring it out while retaining its shape in perfect condition.
Conclusion

Mark Roemer Oakland suggests that when you insert small toys or treasures into the bath bombs for kids, you keep them in plastic molds to gift them. Both homemade and store-bought bath bombs can be fragile and hence you need to make sure it doesn’t crumble before it reaches the bath.
